Creating Book Page Charms Inspired by The Hunger Games

“May the odds ever be in your favor!” These famous words from The Hunger Games book series can be heard throughout its pages and recognized instantly by fans like ourselves. Take part of that book series wherever you go with you with these Hunger Games charms; perfect for keychains or necklaces!

As I anticipated the release of the new movie this Friday, this project seemed ideal!

I keep mine on my keychain and gave the other to my daughter. These bookmarks are easy to make; simply cut a page from your book or photocopy one; in my case I bought the books as ebooks on my Kindle and took screenshots of any sections that caught my eye.

Here are the sections I chose. Feel free to use a passage or section that stood out for you, perhaps something like an especially striking quote that really spoke to you.

Mod Podge Acrylic Shapes can be found at craft stores; I don’t know if Walmart sells them but it is quite possible. These adorable little charms can be decoupaged and embellished to your heart’s content! Some even come equipped with hanger holes; those are the ones I used in this project; another project I made using these shapes included these family photo magnets using them sans hanger hole!
